Best places to live in Minneapolis/St. Paul?
So currently I live on the east side of Milwaukee, which is called the fashionable/trendy east side. It’s also not too overly expensive, I mean average one bedroom is 600 a month and has plenty of shops, Coffee, restaurants, and great bars around my place and on the east side in general. It’s also known that its a younger part of the town as there are 2 universities in the general area. Looking to see what would be very similar in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area that’s not TOO expensive. Now granted it doesn’t have to be near universities but the rest would be nice. Thanks so much for taking a look!
It also wouldn’t hurt if it was near water too.
It sounds like your totally describing the uptown area… the Lakes area of south minneapolis (there’s Calhoun, Harriet, Nokomis and Lake of the Isles). Mostly 20-somethings, fun shops, restaurants, nightlife, paths around the lakes. not extremely expensive. definitely the best area to live in in minneapolis.
