Coffee machines, can you recommend one?
We had a coffee machine where the water filtered through the coffee beans the filled up a glass jug which sat on a hot plate keeping warm. I’m not a coffee drinker and even though the smell of fresh coffee is nice, the smell that came from this machine after an hour or so was awful-a burnt like smell. We are now going to get another and I would like to know if there is a different design you know about where the coffee is kept in a tank rather than on the hot plate. It’s just for Filter Coffee, we don’t need cappuchino or expresso or whatever.
Cusinart makes a Coffee-on-demand machine. I can’t attest to how good it is, but I have at least a dozen Cuisinart appliances and their quality is top rate.
They’re usually about 100 dollars but I’ve seen them come up for about 40 or 50 on sites like Overstock.com
